LEI is excited to announce a six week series of workshops and collaborative work sessions designed to help you learn new skills, stay organized and grow your business with the help of expert instructors and a collaborative community.

Building a business is hard. Luckily we don’t have to do it alone. LEI is excited to announce a six week series of workshops and collaborative work sessions designed to help you learn new skills, stay organized and grow your business with the help of expert instructors and a collaborative community.
The series will run from October 1st through November 12th and cover topics from branding to digital marketing, business management, and accounting. Each week an expert instructor will lead a 30 minute to two-hour workshop followed by collaborative work sessions where you can implement your new skills, cross off to-dos and seek one-on-one advice from the instructor.
Space is limited. Sign up for the LEI Fall Series for just $325 and you’ll receive:
- Six weeks of expert-led workshops and access to one-on-one help during work sessions
- Access to collaborative workspace and amenities at the 808 Shared Workspace in Puhi
- Opportunity to connect with other local business owners and mentors to help you in your business journey
- Dedicated time to work on strategy, branding, other business to-do’s and projects that always slip through the cracks!
Time and Dates:
6 weeks October 1 through November 12. Week of October 8 excluded for Fall Break.
Tuesdays 9am-1pm
30 minute to 2-hour workshop
2 to 3 ½ hour collaborative work session

Your brand is the sum total of the experiences your customers have with your business. It communicates what you offer, how you do it, and your values, while establishing trust. Your brand informs your marketing and business operations which is why we’re beginning the LEI Fall Series with an introduction to branding. In this workshop, we will spend two hours refining your brand values, vision and strategy with helpful exercises and then have two hours of community work time where you can put your new information into action.

Learn how to tell your brand story on Instagram and connect with your ideal customers. We will cover how to get your profile looking great, while planning content with a clear strategy in place to avoid the last minute panic of what to post (we've all been there!). We will plan out exactly the type of content you should be posting each month to connect with your target audience, and practice how to arrange your photos on the Instagram grid.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) isn’t just for big businesses. As a small/local business, there is a lot you can do ensure your website ranks well in search results and drives traffic to your business. In this work session, we’ll cover SEO basics and tools you can use to improve your rankings and then use our collaborative work time to make improvements to your site, research keywords and/or develop content.

Nov 12 | WK 6 IG Photos + Filters

No fancy camera, no problem! Beautiful, high quality images can make a huge difference in setting your business apart. In this course I will show you exactly how to take amazing photos using only your iPhone and a few simple editing apps! This will be a hands-on work session with tons of fun props, flat lay backgrounds, and styling items to practice photographing with 1:1 direction.
